In 2018, commissioned by the Palau de la Música de València, he composed the arrangements of “Pep Botifarra i Pau Cháfer simfònic”, premiered with the Valencia Orchestra conducted by Octavio Mas-Arocas. Since 2020, he has been working on his first work for symphonic band, “Cançons oblidades”, where he recovers traditional Valencian music to bring it to the symphonic field.

The concert format

Sarah Rope & Pau Cháfer Septet

Sarah Rope as the main voice accompanied by Pau Cháfer on piano and a septet of chamber instruments. A line-up designed to offer the sonic breadth of chamber music at the service of popular songs revisited with a new elegance. An experience that lies between the intimacy of the cabaret and the solemnity of the concert hall — exactly the spirit of the Juliol Musical Albuixech.
